Well this is my new blog. Was having trouble with the old blog site so thought I'd make the jump to Google. Looks like it might be a little easier to use. You can read my old blog here:

Going to try and update this more. If not for anyone else I can keep track of my quilting and sewing projects, ideas, New things. I'm not most quilters and don't fit the stereotype. I went to high school in the 70's, well enough said about that lol.

I have recently jumped back into quilting and sewing 110% after a almost year long absence. I have become intrigued with applique work. As I love the artistic feel to and and the expression. I'm currently working on this

I know it's sideways. Will adjust it later. After I've finished the trees and hearts which is going to be a wall hanging. I plan doing this:

So I really have my work cut out for me no pun intended lol. Just a matter of my hand holding out. I have a bone spur in my left thumb and generally radiates pain over my whole hand in tasks such as cutting, hand sewing, even picking up a bottle of dish detergent and being left handed this is at it's best an annoyance. But such is life. You adjust and move on.
